Delete your account

You can permanently delete your MinistryAlign account and personal data at any time. Pick whichever path works for you.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app
The fastest option if you can still sign in.
  1. Sign in to MinistryAlign on the web or in the app.
  2. Open Settings → Account.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Option 2 — Email us (works if you've uninstalled or can't sign in)
We'll verify it's you and process the request within 30 days.

Email hello@ministryalign.app from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my MinistryAlign account and data."

What gets deleted, and what we keep

Permanently deleted

  • Your profile, name, photo, and life-stage details
  • Assessment results (passions, gifts, DISC, skills)
  • Journal entries, daily verses, postures, and reflections
  • Faithful-moment / impact logs and achievements
  • Goals, tasks, and project memberships you created
  • Ministry assignments and team memberships
  • Notification preferences and device push tokens

Retained (limited, as required)

  • Anonymized billing and tax records we are legally required to keep
  • Security and abuse-prevention logs needed to protect other users
  • A minimal email-suppression entry so we don't accidentally contact you again

Self-serve deletions are immediate. Email requests are completed within 30 days of verification. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
